We enjoyed camping a few times. We wanted to have a family campout before our baby was born, so we went out to Diamond Fork and camped with Julene, David and Laura.
Another time during our trip to Bryce Canyon, we camped at Fish Lake Utah, then at the campground in Bryce Canyon National Park.
When Garrett had to have Postal training in Dallas Texas, we rented a minivan and pitched tents and camped on the way there and back.
One of our most interesting campouts was when we were refinishing the living room floor, and so we decided to get out of the house and camp in American Fork Canyon. When it got dark, Julene and Laura went to their tent and David and Daniel went to theirs. We were just going to put the rest of the food away and go to bed when we saw skunks around our campground. It had come from the river looking for food. We quickly put things away, but worried about our kids coming out of their tents and frightening the skunks especially since the skunks were in the area by the front of their tents. We knew that if they came out or made a noise, they would be sprayed!
